Even though it will get released later this year, the details on Walt Disney Animation Studios and Marvel Studios’ animated film Big Hero 6 are still pretty sparse, but it seems we have our first confirmed cast member. In an interview a few weeks ago with Bostinno, comedian TJ Miller revealed that he will have a part in the upcoming film and now the Rotoscopers have learned that Miller will be voicing the character of “Fred,” who is described as a quirky and weird amateur filmmaker. Check back here for more details on Big Hero 6 as we learn them!
Miller can next be seen on the big screen in Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, which opens on June 27.
Big Hero 6 features brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.
Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the CG-animated film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.
