Here’s our first look at Jaimie Alexander, best known for playing the Asgardian warrior Sif in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in her upcoming NBC series, “Blindspot”!
In the series, a beautiful Jane Doe (Alexander) is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There’s one thing that’s very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. ‘Jane,’ Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed.
The pilot for “Blindspot” was written by Martin Gero (“Stargate: Atlantis”) and directed by Mark Pellington (The Mothman Prophecies) for Warner Bros. TV and Greg Berlanti Productions.
While Alexander is expected to reprise her popular Marvel role as Lady Sif in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, she has also been making repeat visits to “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” She can soon be seen opposite Johnny Depp in the thriller London Fields and will be stalked by Wes Bentley in Broken Vows.
