Xbox One Elite Controllers are currently in high demand, as Microsoft struggles to keep stores stocked with its premium-priced control pad. According to Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the company continues to ship more units to retailers, but stores are selling out immediately. “I’m glad you found one. We keep shipping more in but they sell out instantly,” Spencer told a fan on Twitter.

Last month, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson alerted console owners that Elite Controller “supplies may be limited” until early December. It looks like consumer demand is even greater than the company anticipated, as it’s now mid-December and Microsoft is still struggling to meet demand.
