Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has created a division dubbed Sony Network Entertainment America (SNEA) and as of April 1, 2011 (not playing an Early April Fool’s joke here) PSN users will be prompted to agree with their new Terms of Service (TOS). It is the version 9 of the TOS, if anyone out there is countering.
“Starting on April 1st, SCEA will transfer their online service operations to Sony Network of America. In this transaction, Sony will be transferring your PSN wallet information and funds to SNEA for handling. On or after April 1st, PSN users will have to agree to the new terms.
Those that decline the new terms may be declined service and PSN account will be closed.
Sony has also made a full version of the upcoming TOS available online.
