Verizon Wireless has announced an update to its Verizon Messages service that it says will help customers avoid missed messages.
The service can be set up to deliver any SMS message originally sent to the customer’s phone also to their PC, or their Android or iOS tablet.
In addition to delivering the messages to multiple devices, Verizon will store the messages in the cloud for up to 90 days. Messages may also be stored indefinitely on SD cards. The service offers a number of other features, including automatic replies, web link previews, and the ability to send text messages from the subscriber’s cell phone, PC, or tablet.
The application is free to download from the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store.
