William Daniels will reprise his beloved role as Mr. Feeny in Disney Channel’s upcoming Girl Meets World. At this time, it is not clear what function the character will serve on the Boy Meets World spin-off.
The new show will find Cory (Ben Savage) as a seventh grade history teacher, echoing qualities of Daniels’ Mr. Feeny on the original show. Married to Topanga (Danielle Fishel), the pair have a 14-year-old son, Elliot (Teo Halm), in addition to Riley (Rowan Blanchard).
Filming has begun for Girl Meets World. It is not known if Mr. Feeny would keep playing Mr. Feeny beyond the pilot if the show gets picked up as a series.
