AT&T filed paperwork with the Federal Communications Commission seeking permission to purchase spectrum and customers from Corr Wireless.
Corr is owned and operated by C Spire Wireless. The transaction would give AT&T 10 to 52 MHz chunks of PCS and 700MHz spectrum across parts of Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, in addition to 21,000 customers, and Corr’s wireless network assets in those markets.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the deal must meet regulatory approval before it can be completed.
