Zotac has announced a new, very well equipped Mini-ITX motherboard, the H87-ITX WiFi. While the board may be based on the H87 chipset, it appears that it has been used to the fullest.
The motherboard features an LGA1150 socket which gets fed its power from a single 4-pin EPS connector. Wired to the CPU socket are two DDR3 memory slots, as well as a single PCIe x16 slot. Up to 16 GB of memory is supported in the two slots. Other internal connectivity includes four SATA3 ports, two USB 2.0 headers, one USB 3.0 header, and an mSATA/mPCIe combo slot.
Rear I/O connectivity is handled by four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port, an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as eight channel HD analog audio accompanied by an optical TOSLINK output. Lastly, users will find two antennas protruding from the rear I/O for wireless 802.11n connectivity.
“ZOTAC is always on the forefront of mini-ITX platform development. Our latest ZOTAC H87-ITX WiFi provides users with an excellent starting point for a compact high-performance system that can accommodate the latest 4th Generation Intel Core processors,” says Carsten Berger, senior director, ZOTAC International.
