ViewSonic is expanding its TD40 touchscreen display series with the announcement of its brand new 27-inch TD2740 for consumer and commercial markets, and its 32-inch TD3240 designed for interactive digital signage applications. Both displays are 1920×1080 IPS displays with integrated 10-point projective capacitive touch technology.
The 27-inch TD2740 display has 7H surface hardness scratch-resistant glass, and a 20,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast ratio. Inputs provided are VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort. Bookstand support allows the TD2740 to be laid flat on a table top, while a VESA design enables wall mounting. The display integrates a pair of 2W speakers and a HD webcam as well.
The 32-inch TD3240 is specifically designed for commercial applications, such as digital signage and hospitality uses, needing touch input. The 3,000:1 contrast ratio display has a 10W SRS premium sound system, and has VGA and DVI inputs.
The 10-point multi-touch TD2740 and TD3240 will be available in early August at $899 and $3,180 respectively. The smaller TD2740 will be available throughout the Americas, while the TD3240 will be available in limited quantities in markets other than the US.
