Google Voice users can now receive MMS messages from T-Mobile phone numbers.
Incoming MMS messages will be pushed to Google Voice users’ Gmail accounts, which will then generate a regular text message to the Google Voice number to notify the user about the multimedia content. Google Voice users cannot send MMS messages, however, nor can they receive MMS messages from AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
Google said broader MMS support is coming to Google Voice early next year.
