Universal Pictures and Focus Features have pushed back director Sam Taylor-Johnson’s Fifty Shades of Grey from an August 1, 2014 release to February 13, 2015.

They play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the adaptation of the best-selling book series. Joining them in the cast are Luke Grimes as Christian’s brother, Elliot, Victor Rasuk as Anastasia’s close friend, José, and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mother, Carla.
Other films scheduled for February 13, 2015 are the Nicolas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride and SpongeBob SquarePants 2.
