A federal court of appeals today reversed the decision of a lower court and cleared the way for Apple to seek a ban on certain Samsung devices.
A handful of Samsung devices were found to infringe on certain Apple patents at trial last year. Apple requested that the products be banned from import/sale in the U.S., but was denied that request.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said the lower court abused its discretion in denying Apple’s request.
