As if one of Ra’s al Ghul best trainees isn’t enough of a handful, it looks like another powerful female is headed to Starling City. Spartacus alumnus Katrina Law will be joining the Arrow cast as Nyssa al Ghul, yet another member of the League of Assassins who arrives in Starling City looking for fellow Assassin Sara Lance, otherwise known as The Black Canary. The news was first reported by TV Guide.
Based on the comics, fans know Nyssa as Ra’s al Ghul’s love child from his travels through Russia, which means she’s the half-sister of Talia al Ghul, who we’ve yet to meet … unless, of course, Isabel Rochev isn’t who she says she is. After all, she does speak some pretty impressive Russian.
Law will make her entrance in episode 13 of Arrow‘s second season.
