BlackBerry today announced that it has struck an agreement with LG to preload its BlackBerry Messenger application on some of LG’s smartphones.
The first device to include BBM is the LG G Pro Lite. Others will follow. In addition to the preloading agreement with LG, BlackBerry also said that updates to the Android and iOS versions of BBM will add features such as BBM Channels, as well as support for BBM Voice calling and BBM Video calling.
BlackBerry said these updates will appear in the coming months.
