Pebble today announced the forthcoming launch of an appstore for the Pebble smartwatch.
The appstore, which should go live early next year, will let Pebble owners browser through various categories, such as games, notifications, tools, utilities, remotes, and more, for applications that can run on their device. Pebble recently gave developers access to version 2.0 of its SDK. Developers can use the tools in the SDK to prep their apps for the Pebble appstore.
The Pebble Developer Portal is open and accepting apps beginning today.
