HP today unveiled the second generation of its all-in-one workstation with a 27-inch diagonal display, the HP Z1 G2. The new model is available with a range of processor choices including some of the new Xeon processor line, Windows 8 Touch, and optional Intel Thunderbolt 2 capabilities.
The HP Z1 features Intel integrated HD Graphics, 4th Generation Intel Xeon and Core processors, ECC memory, and RAID storage options. Additionally, the HP Z1 features the latest NVIDIA Mobile Quadro GPUs for professional use and the best graphics performance possible.
Processor options range from the dual-core Intel Core i3-4130 processor at 3.4 GHz, to the Xeon E3-1280 quad-core processor running at 3.6GHz. Up to 32GB of RAM is supported. One 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch drive bay can be populated with a variety of storage options.
Available ports include a pair of USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, optional Thunderbolt 2 ports, a DisplayPort 1.1, and an Ethernet port.

Prices for the new all-in-one start at $1999 for a Core i3 model. Availability dates are not yet known.
