Two more have signed on for Fox’s upcoming series reprisal “24: Live Another Day.” Variety reports that John Boyega (Attack the Block) has joined the cast in a recurring role while Deadline brings word that Stephen Fry (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) will be taking on the role of the British Prime Minister. They join the previously-announced Keifer Sutherland, Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, Giles Matthey, William Devane, Tate Donovan, Kim Raver, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Michael Wincott and Judy Davis.
In “24: Live Another Day,” which returns with a two-hour television premiere Monday, May 5 at 8:00p.m. ET/PT, the stakes are higher than ever for Bauer, who is now an exile being tracked by CIA operations head Steve Harris (Bratt), agent Kate Morgan (Strahovski), computer tech Jordan Reed (Matthey) and field operative Erik Ritter (Akinnagbe).
“24: Live Another Day” is a production of Teakwood Lane Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Robert Cochran, Brian Grazer, Jon Cassar and Kiefer Sutherland will executive-produce.
