AT&T today announced the availability of its LTE 4G network in a handful of smaller towns scattered around the country.
Some of the new markets include Talladega-Sylacauga, Ala.; Michigan City and La Porte, Ind.; Albert Lea, Minn.; West Plains, Mo.; Pinehurst and Southern Pines, N.C.; Grand Forks, N.D.; Steubenville, Ohio; and Weirton, W.Va. AT&T also expanded the reach of its LTE network in existing markets, including Hanford, Porterville, and Visalia, Calif.; and Plainview, Texas.
According to AT&T, its LTE network now covers 280 million Americans, which is up by 10 million since the end of 2013. It will cover 300 million by the middle of the year.
