Even though we’re not exactly sure what the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins story DLC will be, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed with IGN that it won’t be available for the Wii U upon its release. The publisher wrote the following in a statement on the matter:
“Based on demand for DLC content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming all-new story campaign for Wii U.”
The site reports that any Wii U players that purchased the “Arkham Origins” season pass will be given a refund.
No release date has been set for the DLC, which was teased at the start of the year and which many believe will focus on Mr. Freeze.
Batman: Arkham Origins is available now for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
