Fast-food chain Taco Bell has been developing an app that will allow its guests to order food in advance, using their smartphone.
Targeted towards the “Millennials” demographic, the app offers a varied opening message, dependent upon the time of day. Following to the menu, users can then find the nearest Taco Bell location and view specific pricing, hours and directions. Menu selections are customizable, and up-sell opportunities are presented. Users can save their favourite orders for future purchases.
Payment can be facilitated by gift or credit card, with food prepared based on the user’s GPS location and the estimated time of their arrival. Taco Bell’s mobile ordering service is due to be released later this year.
