On Friday, Origin PC sent out a notice stating that on Monday (that is today) at 9 a.m. EST, the company will offer a free 240 GB SSD, a free digital copy of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and a free digital copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts with the purchase of an EON17-S or EON15-S gaming laptop. This offer will only be good for a limited time and while supplies last, so if you’re shopping for a new gaming notebook, now is the time to buy.
Starting at $1,629, the EON17-S has a number of options to choose from. However, the starting configuration includes a 17.3-inch FHD LED-lit screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. The laptop also packs an Intel Core i5-4330M dual-core CPU clocked at 2.80 GHz, 4 GB of DDR3-1333 RAM (2 x 2 GB), and a single Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M GPU (3 GB).
This laptop’s base configuration also includes an 8X Slim CD/DVD burner, integrated audio powered by Sound Blaster XFi, a 320 GB hard drive, and a built-in 2MP video camera. There’s also Wireless N and Bluetooth connectivity, USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, a biometric fingerprint reader, and a customizable backlit keyboard.
The EON15-S starts at $1,535 and features the same base configuration save for the screen, which measures 15.6 inches and has a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Both non-customized laptops will ship with the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium. Neither laptop will feature GPU overclocking… that’s extra.
This new promotion follows the Valentine’s Day deal (now ended) that gave customers free U.S. ground shipping, an Origin PC Edition Razer Taipan Mouse, an Origin PC Edition Razer Goliathus Mouse Mat, professional CPU overclocking, and digital copies of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Call of Duty Ghosts.
