Owners of the LG G Flex could soon receive the ability to record 4K-resolution video, according to a rumor. An alleged User Agent profile for the G Flex running Android 4.4 apparently backs up rumors of the video feature, though it is said the new addition will not have some video-recording aspects shown in the LG G Pro 2 last week at Mobile World Congress.
The User Agent profile spotted by Phone Arena lists a video recording size of 2160p, as well as for 1080p at 60fps and lower resolutions. Though the profile does not specify 4K, report sources claim it will form part of the Android KitKat update heading to the device in the future. Despite the new feature bringing it in line with the G Pro 2, it will not be able to record 120fps video at 1080p, and so will not offer the ability to slow down portions of a video recording.
