The PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 may be released next month, according to a few online retailers. As of today, both Gamestop and Amazon list the game with a May 13th release in North America.
Before the May 13th release date, Amazon listed the game with a May 6th release date. With only Amazon listing the game with that release date, many thought the date wasn’t an official one.
Even though the new Borderlands 2 PS Vita release date has appeared on both Amazon and Gamestop, it has yet to be confirmed so take this with a grain of salt until official news come in.
The PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 has been announced over a year ago but actual game footage failed to materialize up until last month, when the game was available for play during the GDC 2014. Several gameplay videos have also surfaced online, showing how the game runs on Sony’s latest portable console. Judging from the videos, the game seems to run just fine.
Borderlands 2 is now available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The PlayStation Vita version still lacks a solid release date.
