Nintendo is cutting the price of five popular Nintendo 3DS games down to $29.99 from their normal price of $39.99, the company announced today.
Beginning April 22, Nintendo 3DS owners can snag Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2 andSuper Mario 3D Land at this new discounted price both at retail and as downloadable titles through the 3DS eShop.
According to Nintendo, Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario 3D Land are the top three best-selling Nintendo 3DS games of all time in the U.S. with each selling through more than 2.15 million copies, both physical and digital editions. Additionally, Nintendo notes that all five of the above titles have collectively sold 9 million combined retail and downloadable units.
