Marvel Comics has offered a first look at Axis. The publisher teased Rick Remender’s upcoming event on the cover of its August Previews catalogue. The image shows the villains Green Goblin, Loki, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom, Carnage and the Red Skull – the latter wearing Onslaught-style armour.
Jim Cheung delivered the Previews artwork. He has worked on a series of recent Marvel events including Avengers vs X-Men and Infinity.
Little is known about the event at this time, but it is expected to closely involve both the X-Men and Avengers teams, allied rather than at odds as they were in AvX.
Axis will arrive in the autumn.
