The new season of Dancing with the Stars is less than five weeks away, and now we know which 12 pro dancers will be partnering up with celebrities to make a run at the Mirror Ball Trophy.
The Dancing with the Stars season 19 celebrity cast won’t be revealed until Thursday, September 4 on Good Morning America, but for now, find out the nine returning pros and the three new faces.
Returning Pros
Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Val Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Witney Carson, Emma Slater and Peta Murgatroyd are all returning for DWTS season 19. Cheryl and Tony continue their streak of competing in every single season except for the first one.
Not returning from last season are Henry Byalikov, winner Maksim Chmerkovskiy as well as Sharna Burgess.
New Pros
There are three first-time pro partners coming to DWTS in season 19.
Artem Chigvintsev: He joined the DWTS troupe last season and has worked several seasons as a pro partner on the British counterpart Strictly Come Dancing, where he won in his first season as a pro. He is Russian with an expertise in Latin dances.
Keoikantse Motsepe: He has toured with the Burn the Floor production and is known as Keo, which is considerably easier to spell.
Allison Holker: A So You Think You Can Dance all-star and occasional choreographer for DWTS, she shared a 2013 Emmy nomination with Derek Hough for their choreography.
