EKWB is now selling its new flagship CPU water block: the EK-Supremacy EVO.
In terms of improvements, EKWB has been working on a number of tiny, hardly visible details; as a result, the water block is expected to cool the processor about 2.2 degrees C better than its predecessor. It maintains the same high-flow, modular design, making it possible to customize the block to your needs with various jets and inserts to improve performance — although these may increase hydraulic restriction, so you’ll need stronger pumps.
“One of the key performance improvements is closely related with flow velocity field distribution optimization through the nozzle of the water block,” said Vlado Schweiger, chief hydrodynamic engineer at EK Water Blocks.
EKWB is also a slew of variants of the water block, ranging from a standard block to nickel-plated blocks to blocks with the original CSQ design, and more. The blocks are compatible with most modern CPU sockets, including Intel’s LGA2011 and LGA1150, as well as AMD’s AM3+ and FM2+ sockets.
