Cricket today announced a promotion that offers up to double the amount of high-speed data for the same price as before.
Starting September 13th, the $35/month (using Auto Pay) “Basic Plan” will offer 1 GB of high-speed data instead of the previous 500 MB. The $45 Smart Plan will offer 3 GB, up from 2.5 GB, and the $55 Pro Plan includes 10 GB instead of 5 GB. (Plans cost an extra $5/month without Auto Pay.) Existing customers on these plans will automatically be upgraded to the larger data allotments.
Once a customer uses up the high-speed data allotment, data is throttled to 128 Kbps. The offer is for a limited time, but customers taking advantage will be able keep the larger data allotment after the offer expires.
