The simmering flame first brought to bear in UNCANNY AVENGERS #1 over two years ago will at last burst into an out of control inferno on October 8 with the release of AVENGERS & X-MEN: AXIS #1!
The Red Skull has declared World War Hate, using the potent telepathic abilities he pilfered from the deceased Charles Xavier to establish a “Red Supremacy” in the former mutant haven of Genosha, capturing and tormenting the Children of the Atom. In order to defeat this madman, the two teams that battled one another duringAVENGERS VS. X-MEN will have to put their differences aside and unite.
