OK, this Razer case isn’t really made by Razer, but rather by NZXT through a “Designed by Razer” licensing program. The case in question here is an NZXT H440 enclosure, which is known as the NZXT H440 Razer Special Edition.
Inside the case you’ll be able to fit an ATX motherboard, ATX PSU, graphics cards up to 406 mm long or 294 mm long with the GPU cage installed, and CPU coolers up to 180 mm tall. There is also room for up to six 3.5″ drives and two 2.5″ drives. Interestingly, and arguably one of the biggest selling points of the original H440, is that it doesn’t have any optical drive bays, allowing for a very clean front appearance.
For cooling, the top and front of the case can each support either two 140 mm fans or three 120 mm fans, and the back of the case can hold a 140 or 120 mm fan as rear exhaust. All of these spots also support the same sizes in water cooling radiators, meaning you can make quite the water cooled PC inside this case.
So what are the differences between this and the original H440. First off, it’s black, and accented with green. It has the Razer logo on both the front of the case and inside on the bottom compartment cover, both of which light up with LEDs. The bottom of the case also glows green, emitting a beautiful underglow. Additionally, the rear I/O LED is green, as are the USB 3.0 ports up front. The side window is tinted to a darker shade of gray, and the mesh is hexagonal.
The case is available immediately from the NZXT Armory for $149.99.
