Huawei has added another smartphone in its Ascend device range, one which is destined for sale on the Chinese market. The Ascend GX1 is a mid-ranged Android KitKat smartphone with a six-inch 720p IPS display, with the combination of its large display and slim body giving the device a high screen-to-body ratio of 80.5 percent.

Using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, Phone Arena reports the Ascend GX1 also has 8GB of microSD-expandable storage, with photography duties performed by a rear 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Measuring just 9.2mm thick and weighing 173g (6.1 ounces), the phone also has space for two SIM cards to be inserted, allowing it to be used on multiple networks, along with Wi-Fi, FDD-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC connectivity. It also packs a hefty 3,500mAh battery, said to provide up to 720 minutes of talk time and can be fully charged in just over four hours.
