Antec use to be a big name in PC cases until recently, when it just sort of dropped off the map.
He pointed to the 2008 economic crash as a pain point; The company lost its way to an extent during the 2008 economic crash. Now the firm has been around for for 20 years. The company’s had its highs and its lows. Now they seem set to for battle and to reach new highs!
Antec has hired some key pieces recently, Whetzel, the man tasked with rebuilding the marketing team, as well as a new sales VP. Antec has also been looking to branch out with its designs, and it has looked to the community for user feedback.
An xxample of this is the P380 case. They took user, buyer and press feedback from Computex and went back to the drawing board and retooled it.
Antec is wide open on social media, and it’s attending LAN fests and other events where people who are passionate about gaming congregate.
The company does have to rebuild trust with consumers, buyers and tech journalists, but it’s doing all the right things so far.
Let’s hope the P380 is just the beginning of a flow great of products from the new and improved Antec.
