We’ve known for a while now that Curve Digital is working to bring OlliOlli to the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, but the team didn’t have a release date for the hard-as-nails game. Today through their official blog, the team has confirmed that the game will be hitting both the Wii U & the Nintendo 3DS eShop in March. No specific date was outlined, but Curve Digital has hit all of their stated milestones for the ports they’ve done in the past.
OlliOlli is a combo trick platformer with 50 levels of play, but it also includes unique features like the Daily Grind and RAD Mode. Daily Grind gives you just one chance to get the highest score you can on a single level chosen at random, so practice makes perfect before attempting the levels to compete with your friends. I’ve spent several hours with the Vita version of the game and I can say it’s well worth the price if you enjoy the challenge of trying to complete all level objectives. This game is what the Tony Hawk series used to feel like, before Activision ran it into the ground.
