Microsoft confirmed via its YouTube (now Private) channel today that it has acquired a calendar application called Sunrise.
The app is available to Android, iOS, and Mac machines and is highly rated by users. Microsoft didn’t reveal terms of the deal.
Microsoft last year bought an email app called Acompli, which it turned around and released as Outlook for Android and iOS devices. Microsoft hasn’t said what it intends to do with Sunrise, though it could become a useful part of Microsoft’s productivity apps.
