Tony-nominated actor Stark Sands (“Kinky Boots,” Inside Llewyn Davis) and Meagan Good (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Think Like a Man) will star in FOX’s series sequel “Minority Report” reports THR.
Sands will play the dual role of twin precogs Dash and Arthur who have the gift of being able to see murders before they happen. Taking place in 2064, ten years after the end of the PreCrime program in Washington, D.C., it follows one of the precogs attempting to lead a normal life when he meets a detective with a haunted past (Good) who thinks she has a use for his gifts.
Michael and Matthew Dickman originally played precog twins Dashiell and Arthur in Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film, the characters nicknamed after mystery writers Dashiell Hammett and Arthur Conan Doyle.
Godzilla screenwriter Max Borenstein penned the script and executive produces for Amblin Television, Paramount Television and 20th Century Fox Television, with Kevin Falls (“The West Wing”) serving as showrunner and Mark Mylod lined up to direct the pilot.
Sands and Good join Daniel London, who reprises his role as Wally the Caretaker from the movie, as well as Li Jun Li and Laura Regan.
