Tale of Two Cookies From Saturday Night Live

TV’s favorite cookies — Taraji P. Henson’s Cookie from Fox hit “Empire” and the Cookie Monster from “Sesame Street” — met each other last night.

Henson hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, so it should be no surprise that the outspoken mogul made an appearance on the show. She wrecked havoc on the poor, unsuspecting residents of “Sesame Street,” including Bert and Ernie as she got in between the two.

“No, Burt, he’s trying to play you,” she said after Ernie asked to trade his apple for half of Burt’s sandwich.

Later, when Snuffaluffagus tried to suggest that everyone be friends, Cookie whispered, “Snuffy you need to stop rapping like you from them streets, ’cause you not about that life.”

Matters took on an even darker tone when it was implied that Cookie’s red coat might have something to do with the missing Elmo.

She may, however, be able to help the lovable puppets. “That’s good, I can market that!” she said as they sang the PBS show’s theme song.
