It seems as if Nintendo of America is determined to give Splatoon a strong chance of achieving mainstream success for the Wii U, announcing an event designed to get the attention of young gamers and families, in particular.
A ‘Mess Fest’ event will take place on 15th May at Santa Monica Pier, from 11am to 7pm local time. It looks as if celebs and fans will have a chance to tackle an obstacle course with a lot of coloured goop – that’ll be ink – to avoid; chances to enter will be confirmed nearer the time, and the only confirmed celebrity to date highlights the relatively young audience being targeted. That celeb is Disney’s Joey Bragg.
