Apple distributed a third beta of iOS 8.4 to developers and the pre-release operating system revealed at least one new feature.

Author textbooks were initially limited to the iPad at launch, but eventually added to the OS X iBooks app last year. iOS 8.3 beta 3 marks the first time textbooks developed with Apple’s iBook Author tool will be available to the iPhone.
iOS 8.4 beta 3 also makes some refinements to the music player application, which is in the process of being overhauled completely. Apple is expected to say more about iOS 8.4 at its Worldwide Developer Conference slated in June.
