Verizon Wireless said the Motorola Droid Turbo will be updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop beginning the afternoon of Wednesday, July 1.
The update will be delivered in phases over a few weeks. Customers will be able to manually update their phones over the air if they wish.
The update is free.
