The first trailer for the Crackle original comedy SuperMansion debuted at Comic-Con today. The footage of the lewd-n-crude stop-motion series produced by and starring Bryan Cranston starts with his aging character, Titanium Rex, testifying before Congress.
The pols want to know exactly what’s up with the League of Freedom, a group of mostly millennial-age superheroes who live together in a mansion — some of whom have run afoul of the law lately. To save the League, Rex and company must prove their worth by taking down the most heinous criminal to hit Storm City. That would be the Groaner: an evil prop comic.
Along with Cranston, SuperMansion features a voice cast including Seth Green, Jillian Bell, Matthew Senreich, Zeb Wells, Heidi Lynn Gardner, Tom Root and Tucker Gilmore. And the Comic-Con crowd learned today that there will plenty of big-name guest voices including Chris Pine, Ron Perlman, Donald Faison, Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll, Anton Yelchin, Famke Janssen, Breckin Meyer.
Produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, it’s written and directed by Zeb Wells, who also voices the Groaner and Robobot and exec produces alongside his Robot Chicken colleague Matthew Senreich. Cranston, Green, John Harvatine, Eric Towner, James Degus and Moon Shot Entertainment. SuperMansion goes live on Crackle in the fall.
