TNT has handed a formal pilot order to “Good Behavior,” a drama from “Wayward Pines” creator Chad Hodge, Variety has learned. Michelle Dockery is set to star.
The project is based on the Letty Dobesh novels by author Blake Crouch, who also penned the “Wayward Pines” book trilogy, and Dockery (“Downton Abbey”) will play the title character.
The series will tell the story of Dobesh, a thief and a con artist fresh out of prison whose life is always one wrong turn and bad decision from implosions — just how she likes it. However, when she overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man’s wife, she sets out to derail the job, launching her on a collision course with the killer, entangling them in a dangerous and seductive relationship.
The project marks a reunion between Crouch and Hodge, who will both serve as exec producers on the con drama. The duo co-wrote the pilot.
