Woah Dave! was a breakout success when it launched on the Nintendo 3DS. It combines the frantic pacing of 80s arcade games with crazy visuals and the developer has announced today that those who own the title on Nintendo 3DS will get the Wii U version for free through cross-buy.

Whoa Dave! joins a long line of indie titles that are beginning to support cross-buy with the Nintendo 3DS, but if you don’t have it yet, you might consider picking it up for Wii U if you love fast-paced arcade games and stomping tons of aliens.
