TNT has cancelled “Proof” after one season, putting an end to the supernatural drama series exec produced by Kyra Sedgwick and starring Jennifer Beals.
The series debuted in June. Despite airing behind TNT staple “Rizzoli and Isles,” it averaged a mere 0.31 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall in same-night viewing, rising to a 0.53 and about 3.3 million in Nielsen’s “live plus-3” estimates.
