Amazon Prime has closed a deal for the exclusive subscription streaming rights to USA’s breakout hacker drama Mr. Robot starring Rami Malek. Starting in the spring, all 10 episodes from the series’ first season will be available to Amazon Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan.
“Mr. Robot is one the most compelling new dramas on television,” said Brad Beale, Amazon VP of Digital Video Content Acquisition. “Rami Malek delivers a mesmerizing performance and leads a great cast with an intriguing story full of dark twists.”
Mr. Robot, from Universal Cable Prods., co-stars Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin and Martin Wallström. It was created by Sam Esmail who executive produces with Steve Golin and Chad Hamilton.
