The Sony PlayStation 3 will be getting 3D support for its gaming and Blu-ray platforms this summer, according to Pocket-lint.com, which talked to director of hardware marketing John Koller about the 3D transition.
The summer timeframe coincides with the planned firmware upgrade rollout for Sony’s compatible Bravia LCD TVs, the DP-S470, BDP-S570 stand alone Blu-ray players and BDV-E770W and BDV-E570 Blu-ray home theater systems.
