If you boot up your Wii U you may be greeted with an ad for 20% off of Splatoon
from the Nintendo eShop if you were one of the players who participated in the Global Testfire events held earlier this year. Nintendo obviously wants to expand the player base for the online game and 20% off is a pretty sweet deal.
If you haven’t gotten the ad when you boot your Wii U, check in the Nintendo eShop to see if it’s discounted for you. There’s no telling if this deal is offered to everyone who participated by hasn’t bought it yet, or a select number of individuals, so it’s best to check and see if the deal is available for you.
