The PC indie hit Gone Home is no longer headed to Wii U. Developer Fullbright’s Steve confirmed that they are only focusing on the still-planned PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home ports.
Gone Home was previously teased as part of Nintendo’s Unity deal to make the platform usable on the Wii U. A home port was planned for release in 2014, but has suffered cancellation due to the financial troubles of publisher Majesco. The home port will now be handled by Midnight City. No word was given on why the Wii U port specifically was cancelled. The game hits the PS4 and Xbox One on January 12th 2016.
