Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Store “Countdown” sale, which the company is calling the “biggest sale ever” for the platform, starts in just a few days on December 22. And now, Microsoft has released a teaser video for it and talked, in general terms, about what kinds of savings gamers can expect.
There will be more than 200 deals offered throughout the course of the event, which ends on January 7, 2016. These will include daily and weekly deals for Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, as well as movies and TV shows.
As you can see in the video above, some of the discounted games will include Microsoft games like Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, as well as Fallout 4, Call of duty: Black Ops III, Grand Theft Auto V, Destiny, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
In addition, Microsoft says it will offer discounts on “more than 10” Xbox One backward-compatible games, though these were not named. New backwards-compatible games were added this week.
Overall, Xbox owners can look forward to offers of up to 60 percent off. Xbox Live Gold members will save an extra 10 percent on top of the normal discounts.
