Pandora today said it has wrapped up its acquisition of Rdio.
The deal gives Pandora technology, intellectual property, and about 100 former Rdio employees. Pandora said Rdio’s team will be added to its product, engineering, and content licensing groups.
Pandora expects to use Rdio’s assets to “substantially broaden” its music streaming business over the next year. Pandora paid $75 million in cash.
