It’s a new year and it could be time to try a new health app and a supposedly improved health monitor.
HTC thinks it has you covered. During CES 2016 it’s announcing a joint effort with Under Armour: the release of UA HealthBox, a app-driven, device-based fitness system to measure, monitor and manages key health data.
Designed and manufactured by HTC and powered by UA Record, UA HealthBox includes a fitness band, heart rate monitor and a smart scale that all connect with UA Record to provide insights to assist personal fitness goal-planning.
The new UA Record app is available from the Google Play store and App Store.
The UA HealthBox — which includes the UA Band, the heart rate monitor and UA scale — will be available on Jan. 22 in the U.S. with pre-orders beginning today on www.HTC.com, UA.com and at Under Armour brand locations.
UA HealthBox will roll out to additional U.S. retailers in the first quarter and internationally throughout 201
